The Name That Wargame has earned a place of its own, so here goes.
The :terms:
PC games = games played on a personal computer.
Console games = games played with the aid of a TV
Board games = board games, pen & paper, etc...
Questions posed must be best answered by a Yes or No.
If someone ventures an exact guess and is incorrect, that person is out of the round and cannot ask any more question nor make any more guesses.
Guesses at the game in question DO NOT count towards one of the 20 questions.
If someone gets a correct guess, then that person hosts the next round.
If no one guesses correctly by the 20th question, then the host player reveals the answer and begins a new round.
Once the round ends, I will wipe the board clean, and the host will begin the next round.
If it is established that the person with the "secret" has given an incorrect answer before he discovers and clarifies it, then the person who discovers the error is the winner and hosts the next round.
Sometimes a question is posed with which a yes/no answer is misleading or incomplete; in such cases the host may answer with a qualification such as: "restricted yes (no)".
example: "Did the conflict take place prior to 1968?"
Since the Vietnam conflict took place before, during and after 1968, a worthy answer could be "restricted yes." This of course gives additional information to the players, but releases the host from unintentionally giving a potentially wrong answer.
The host may give one (1) standing clue for the round, such as 'board game' or 'PC game'. This is at the discretion of the host.
Once the end of the round is reached, the old/new host should contact me and let me know when they are ready for a new round.
